cabin fever

favorite sick day activity: give myself a manicure while watching Netflix

I'm one of those people that gets sick at least once every winter. That means a lot of down-time alone in my apartment, painting my nails and reorganizing my closet... again.

How do you entertain yourself when it is snowy outside and you are trying to nurse a cold? I can only watch so many episodes of Grey's Anatomy before I start to feel myself slipping into borderline insanity. I think I've had enough soup and wassel to feed the entire U.S. Military.

Also, I am looking to purchase a new laptop for school. Any suggestions on good laptops for college? I currently have an old Gateway laptop and I need a change... something that is faster and more portable.

I was able to get out of my apartment for a couple of hours on Saturday for a Christmas luncheon with my coworkers--my first time at Tucano's. Un-freakin-real. Party in my mouth.

  2. Try looking into Lenovo laptops. Usually have a much more affordable price as well as some touchscreen options! If you're looking for a true budget laptop, a Google Chrome Book is the way to go!

It depends what are you going to study in college, you can get a Mac but I recommend an ASUS the most!
